As part of continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join the Nordics & Benelux team as a Relationship Manager, based in London. In addition, they are expected to have a solid understanding of institutional markets and act as a strategic thought partner to their clients. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the broader EMEA Institutional Team , and will have responsibility for servicing approximately 40 clients in the Nordics / Benelux region, including corporate pension plans, family offices, and public fund plans.

The Relationship Manager will also work in close partnership with our Business Development, Consultant Relations, Product Management and Portfolio Management teams to ensure that we are properly addressing all client needs, and covering all available opportunities in this important market. He/she must be able to understand and align client interests with our existing investment line-up, as well as work across the organization to develop custom solutions as appropriate. In addition, as an external representative of the firm, this individual also will be expected to participate in industry conferences and relevant forums, and expand client-related relationships with the consultant community. He/she will be expected to identify any potential opportunities for growth within the client base, and work collaboratively with the team on new business opportunities as appropriate. The position will require extensive travel to the region(s).

* Have an excellent working knowledge of capital markets and investment approaches (ideally across multiple asset classes);

* Be a team player, capable of handling a large number of clients with a variety of needs. Initiative, creativity, persistence, and consultative selling skills are particularly important in this role.
