Global Credit Products (GCP) are responsible for the primary issuance and secondary sales and trading of investment grade and high yield corporate bonds and leveraged loans and has a market leading franchise in Leveraged Finance. The business is significant in size in terms of people, financials, geographic coverage and products traded.
This opportunity is for a Salesperson covering the European market, with a particular focus on Syndicated Loans.

• Assists colleagues in the sale of CS credit products and services to clients. Collaborates with wider sales teams to develop and maintain relationships and provide investment strategies, ideas and research.
• Supports development of relationships with large institutional clients in collaboration with colleagues. Develops and maintains relationships with contacts at clients.
• Collaborates with senior Global Markets sales teams to perform research and analytics to assist in the development of trading ideas. Provides investment strategy and research to colleagues for specific clients.
• Maintains current knowledge of market trends and interprets market and product information. Identifies market changes which may have implications for client strategies or tactics. Helps develop tailored solutions to assist investors in implementing investment and hedging strategies. Executes trades on behalf of clients under the direction of Global Markets (Fixed Income) sales teams.

You Offer
Key requirements:
• Demonstrated experience and proven track record of success in Sales covering Syndicated Loans is a pre-requisite
• Established relationships with major banking institutions, investment managers, and hedge funds and a clear understanding of the internal structure and the decision makers in regard to primary syndicated loan issuance, secondary trading, and distressed sourcing and the process by which assets are selected for sale and transacted
• Ideally also possess a network of established relationships in the advisory community in these jurisdictions, either accounting or restructuring advisors, in order to provide greater insight in product offerings
• Strong credit fundamentals, with the ability to undertake initial due diligence
• Deep understanding of local context (regulation, banking systems, insolvency legislation)
• Accounting or Finance background desirable or clear progress towards the CFA designation
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to the region (approx. 4 days per month)
• Desire and ability to work as part of a close knit team
• Excellent communication skills

This role will require ongoing certification under the Certification Regime.
