The opportunity
At this time of pervasive change across banking and capital markets, the Risk & Compliance Technology practice offers dynamic project opportunities which will enable professionals like you to develop and build expertise in capital markets, risk management, large scale programme management, and consulting. Our focus areas include:
  • Market Risk - Fundamental review of the trading book (FRTB)
  • Conduct Risk - FO controls and governance
  • Compliance - Financial crime, anti-money laundering, sanctions etc.
  • Technology-enabled business transformation including business process optimisation
Your key responsibilities
As a core member of the team, together with our leading practitioners you will be shaping and executing the change agenda with emphasis on Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB). You will engage with client stakeholders from risk management, front office, and technology functions to execute various regulatory compliance, optimization, and/or business transformation initiatives.

As a Manager you will lead in the delivery of our clients' change initiatives which will require clarity of thought, managing team members, robust analysis skills, and subject matter knowledge across a range of topics. You will provide your team with the appropriate level of challenge and support, whilst raising potential issues with proposed solutions.

Skills and attributes for success
Your success will depend on your drive, motivation and ability to understand clients' needs, leadership, project management, collaboration, stakeholder management, and requirement engineering skills.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Experience working within the risk management domain gained either in consulting, investment banking or asset management
  • Familiarity with pricing and risk analytics topics such as derivative valuation, VaR, ES, etc.
  • Exposure to systems implementation and front-to-back IB business or technology architecture
  • Demonstrable knowledge of front, middle or back office business processes
  • Track record of leading successful teams and sound people management skills
  • Strong project delivery and leadership experience, understanding of project life-cycle phases and project methods
  • Extensive experience managing stakeholders combined with ability to develop influential relationships with clients across business and technology
  • Must be qualified to MBA level or above
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Industry recognised business, finance, IT or project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, BPR, CIMA or CFA
