EY's Financial Services Organisation is a unique, industry-focused practice, unlike some of its peers, and as a Senior Consultant in our Wealth & Asset Management Technology practice, you'll be at the heart of it in one of our fastest growing sectors.

Working closely with a team of significant senior talent, picked from both industry and consulting, you will help to drive the growth of this business, and will personally visit high-profile clients on site to understand their unique needs and build your reputation as a trusted business advisor. The opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to analyse, design, recommend and implement technology aligned performance improvement solutions for the full spectrum of products and functions within the Wealth & Asset Management industry across a diverse range client assignments including:
  • Front to back business transformation including market leading vendor solution platform selection and integration, cost reduction and robotic process automation
  • Leading technology change programmes, including application architecture review and simplification
  • Digital technologies and direct to consumer infrastructure
  • Target Business and Operating Model design and implementation
  • Regulatory driven change (including client and regulatory compliance)
  • Data integration
  • Large scale project and programme management

Your key responsibilities
As a Manager you will:
  • Manage a diverse range of client assignments, usually as part of an on-site project team
  • Manage on-site EY teams
  • Develop thought leadership and build EY solutions and methods
  • Identify opportunities for new business and support bid teams with proposals
  • Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with our clients
  • Support EY practice and people development through activities such as recruitment


To qualify for the role you must have
  • Successful track record in the Wealth, Asset or Investment Management industry, gained through a top tier consultancy (Big 4, IBM, Accenture etc..), a specialist financial services consultancy, top tier manager, or technology / service provider
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of technology advisors focussing on projects for Wealth, Asset or Investment Management clients
  • Experience of developing sales collateral such as proposal responses
  • Good understanding of one or more of the following: front and middle office, advice and financial planning, portfolio management, or operations
  • Technology skills across architecture, IT operating model design/cost reduction or experience of major package selection/service implementation (Asset Management - BlackRock Aladdin, Simcorp, Charles River, Markit thinkFolio, Fusion Invest. Wealth - SEI, Avaloq, Temenos, JHC Figaro, XPLAN, Distribution Technologies, Tercero)
  • Good appreciation of current market trends in Technology and Wealth & Asset Management
  • Good understanding of one or more Wealth & Asset Management product areas
  • Good understanding of end to end process flows and functional areas of Wealth & Asset Management participants
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Industry recognised business, finance, IT or project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, BPR, CIMA or CFA
