Investment Manager / Private Wealth Management / Private Client Portfolio Management
The Investment Manager will manage private clients and their discretionary portfolios in line with the agreed client objectives.
Directly responsible for contributing to investment strategy, building model and bespoke portfolios and conducting investment research.
Provide an outstanding service to private clients in terms of both relationships, understanding client objectives and requirements including risk profile and income levels and portfolio management.
Represent and lead research work in respect of one of the sub asset classes to UK Equities, Developed Overseas Equities, Emerging Equities, Fixed Income, Property, Hedge Funds & Alternatives, leading the workflow, managing resources & tools.
Create a team ethos of maintaining high standards across the board regarding client service and upholding the company's values and commitments.
4-5 years Investment Management / Portfolio Management experience within a Private Wealth Management firm or Private Bank.
Experience in having responsibility for the discretionary management of a pool of high net worth clients.
Knowledge of multi asset classes, collective funds.
FCA approval and authorisation as a CF30 would be needed for this role.
Level 6 RDR (achieved or working towards). Professional Body Membership - MCSI (Chartered Wealth Manager) or MPFS (Chartered Financial Planner) or CFA member (Charter holder)
Experienced investment analyst with experience of idea generation, quantitative filtering, thorough research and analysis, due diligence and final investment selection processes.
Strong interpersonal skills.
