Senior Investment Analyst

Currently working for an investment arm of a leading UK insurer that are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join their growing team. Key responsibilities will include supporting the management and oversight responsibilities of the Investment Strategy team, setting and implementing the investment strategy for the Shareholder Fund and contributing to decisions on asset allocation and portfolio construction.

You will also be expected to play a role in fund manager selection and fund manager monitoring as well as providing input on the shareholder fund risk framework.

The suitable candidate should have a strong quantitative skill set from a numerate university degree, be making good progression in the CFA qualification and have experience of working in a multi-asset investment role. A track record of interacting with a variety of stakeholders will be expected as well as an ability to think strategically with an understanding of the impact of external events on the determination and implementation of investment strategy.
