Change Recruitment Group's prestigious Asset Manager client is looking to hire a Training and Competence Assistant to join their HR Team on a fixed term basis.

The Human Resources department provides support and advice to managers and staff on HR and Development matters. Some of our key focus areas include recruiting staff, providing support for team and personal training and development, anticipating future resource needs of the organisation and ensuring that our reward and benefits packages are competitive.

Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Learning Consultant, this role will primarily focus on regulation. You will be required to manage the administration of the firm's Training & Competence procedures and of all professional qualifications undertaken by the firm's employees.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for Training & Competence administration, including:
·    Collating information and arranging sign-off
·    Maintaining employee records in the HR system (Workday)
·    Producing monthly reports for HR meeting, the Compliance Committee, and other ad-hoc reports as required
·    Working closely with the Compliance Department to ensure that the firm meet all internal and regulatory requirements

Responsibility for co-ordination of all professional qualification registrations including:
·    Managing relationships with accredited bodies (CFA UK, CISI, FitchLearning and Clearly Training)
·    Course and exam bookings
·    Ordering study materials and processing membership renewals
·    Providing relevant support to those studying
·    Dealing with enquiries from the Professional Qualifications mailbox and process invoices

Additional Responsibilities:

·    Supporting key team projects on any regulatory changes
·    Creating and maintaining  reports, papers and agendas
·    Attendance & minutes for various meetings
·    Providing ad-hoc support to the Talent & Development team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:-

Experience and Knowledge:-

·    Previous administration experience within a training/compliance/HR environment
·    A genuine interest in regulation and the subsequent impact on the firm's processes
·    Experience of ensuring adherence to regulatory standards through the coordination of training programmes (desirable)
·    Experience of relationships with Accredited Bodies (desirable)

Abilities and Skills:-

·    Proficient in MS Office (Word, excel, Outlook)
·    Proven organisational and time management skills
·    Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality output
·    Proactive and flexible approach to work; collaborative team player with ability to work independently
·    Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to communicate and negotiate effectively with staff at various levels in the firm
·    Driven by the production of high quality, accurate pieces of work with good attention to detail
