Candidates for the role will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant fund sales experience gained at either an asset management organisation, (credit) investment boutique, UCITS distribution platform, third-party marketing firm, placement agent or a similar asset management sales organisation
  • Proven track record of successfully selling investment strategies and products to institutional investors and professional buyers in the UK, Continental Europe and/ or the Middle East
  • Established client franchise and relationships with insurance companies, banks, fund-of funds, private banks, wealth managers, platforms and family offices
  • Solid know-how of credit-based investment strategies combined with the ability to articulate, explain and position these strategies to clients
  • Languages an added bonus

  • Highly motivated and dynamic personality who is a self-starter with a strong commercial and entrepreneurial acumen
  • Excellent sales, relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Strong investment background with a proven understanding of credit, structured credit and fixed income; Impactful presence, poise and presentation skills
  • Strong intellect, but with the ability to relate to both clients and colleagues Team player who is keen to be part of a collaborative approach; Experience of working with a CRM system (BSC use Salesforce) and a keen desire to maintain and work with such a system;
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Able to adapt quickly and resourcefully to changing situations while travelling for business
  • Sound judgement and a high level of professional and personal integrity

The chosen candidate should ideally be degree educated or possess an equivalent combination of experience and training. Further qualifications such as CFA (I,II,III), CAIA or an MBA are not required but will be viewed as an additional asset.
