Our client is an impressive boutique asset manager hugely respected in the industry and whom many aspire to work for. This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for a n experienced Senior Multi Asset (Asset Allocation, Fixed Income & Equity) Front Office Liaison to join an existing team which sits with and supports the investment team & Product Specialists as the operational point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned number of investment strategies (across AA, FI & Equity portfolios).

Sitting with Front Office, it is essential you will be experienced in ensuring the operational readiness of proprietary products and client portfolios. You will also be experienced in analysing cash flows, communicating corporate action decisions, executing complex discretionary trades and producing analytical information such as fund performance and attribution.

In this role you will also be responsible for reviewing investment guidelines, establishing and monitoring portfolios, maintaining custom industry structures as well as monitoring unique client requirements for your assigned number of investment strategies and clients.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to provide support to Front Office and present to the Investment Steering Committees and various Boards. Your analytical skills will be utilised to further develop reporting in line with changing business requirements.

You will also conduct complex analysis to identify key trends for your assigned investment strategies and develop ad hoc, non-standard analysis. In addition, you will be experienced in producing and distributing attribution and risk Data and customised portfolio information ensuring accuracy of portfolio-level data and analysis is provided to Front Office in a timely manner to support investment decisions and to resolve complex client queries.

This is a varied Senior Investment Liaison role which will also get involved in product development to include analysing investment guidelines, participating in product launch task forces and ensuring portfolio models for new investment products are updated as well as conducting scenario analysis for Fixed Income Asset Allocation & Equity products. You will also be responsible for communicating all investment strategy changes across Marketing and the Operations teams. This will include managing benchmark changes, investing in new market/instrument types and communicating any PM or investment analyst changes across the business.

Candidates will be accustomed to keeping abreast at all times each portfolio managers investment philosophy, strategies and products by working closely with the Portfolio Managers, attending strategy meetings, studying investment guidelines, reviewing marketing materials and producing investment packs for example.

To be considered, candidates will possess advanced knowledge of investment principals across Asset Allocation, Fixed Income and Equity strategies as well as financial markets and their application to investment, operational and marketing processes. Strong expertise of access database reporting and data extraction using Bloomberg, Morningstar, Factset and Point is also required. Along with strong analytical skills, candidates will be educated to degree level and/or have CFA accreditation coming from an asset management firm coming from a similar role .
