Portfolio Manager

Ennismore Fund Management is a boutique fund management business, specialising in European smaller companies, with an excellent track record since launch in 1999.

We are looking for an additional Fund Manager to join our Pan-European investment team to help us continue this success story. The ideal candidate would have an eye for finding great stocks that our funds can own for the long term irrespective of market conditions. They should love the discreet pleasure of discovering gems in untrodden territory through their own detailed research and analysis.  Managing absolute return funds, we would also require the successful candidate to be able to identify short positions amongst the overvalued stocks, with weak business models and/ or competitive positions that are always around in our equity universe.

The individual will have a strong sense of the intrinsic value of the stock and the skills to demonstrate that value. The right candidate will be an independent self- starter with a strong intellectual ability and a temperament suited to our long term investment style.

We require at least 5 years’ experience of managing equity portfolios, a degree level education (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) and very strong numeracy skills. European languages would also be a great advantage.
