Global Equity Investment Analyst

Key responsibilities and duties include:
• Performing detailed, original equity analysis and sound investment recommendations
• Monitoring and contributing to existing portfolio investments, including portfolio risk management
• Assisting in reporting to clients, including presenting performance information and writing reports
• Monitor team recommendations and portfolio holdings to continually validate and contest the investment case

Necessary qualifications, experience and competencies:
• 3 - 7 years' experience as an Equity Analyst within Asset Management. A clear passion for investing and expanding your knowledge around the area must be demonstratable
• CFA Charterholder
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, equity valuation and analytical techniques
• Skills to be able to present clear compelling investment cases to a team
• Ability to communicate well, and engage in frank debate on investments
• Proficient with Bloomberg and MS Office
• A real grasp of behavioural finance would also be an advantage
