Portfolio Manager , IAD , CFA , Discretionary Investment Management

This Portfolio Manager role is to provide high quality investment strategies in line with the mandate set by the client, as well as adhering to regulatory & organisational requirements.

This position centres around guising the investment process for 3 Fund Managers.

The Portfolio Manager role will entail the following aspects:

• Manage & review private client portfolios, reflecting the mandate stipulated by individual clients
• Ensure that the investment process positions the clients within correct suitability banding.
• Chair meetings to discuss & outline investment strategy.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of investment products, market & professional expertise as well as an understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to team, office & business initiatives along with desk strategy & asset selection.
• Provide appropriate MI pertaining to client investment performance/suitability bandings.

The Candidate

3 - 5 Relevant Portfolio Management experience within Investment Management setting.

Business or Economics Degree required.

Preferred CFA qualified, CISI 6/7 or minimum CISI Level 4 IAD or equivalent.

Advance Excel experience to create macros & complex formulas.

Knowledge of regulatory obligations inline with this CF30 and Approved Person role.

Working knowledge of Pulse, FactSet & FE Analytics is advantageous.

Strong numeracy & literary skills.
