What You'll Be Doing
  • Work with our scientists and engineers to drive Arkera's platform within the global ETF space
  • Drive our ETF product development by addressing important industry trends, monitoring potential new entrants to the ETF market, existing issuers and participants in the wider ETF ecosystem
  • Write and maintain stored procedures, functions and queries to deliver high quality intelligence
  • Review and draft product-related content for our clients
  • Prove yourself and you will own the product, becoming the point of reference for the rest of the company

This Job Is Perfect If You
  • Have good working knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies found in ETF structures (namely, equities, bonds, indices)
  • Have the ability to analyse and contextualise macroeconomic content that is relevant to our range of ETFs
  • Have a fundamental understanding of regulatory issues facing the ETF ecosystem
  • Can break down complex problems and explain them well in plain English
  • Thrive in a high-performance and meritocratic environment where the best ideas win out
  • Are a creative individual and are able to work efficiently with little supervision
  • Have knowledge of statistics
  • Have previous experience in an early stage or small company

Advantageous
  • BA/BS in Law, Finance, Economics, Humanities (or equivalent work experience)
  • FCA approved person - CFA and/or other UK financial regulation certificates (CISI, CF30 etc)
  • Previous work experience as a Researcher or Analyst ideally in the ETF space

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen and one or two on-site interviews, depending on your convenience and availability and the process usually takes a couple of weeks in total.
