Our client is a circa $10 billion institutional asset manager based in New York with an office in London. Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
  • Primary objective is to raise assets and expand relationships by:
    • Developing and executing marketing strategy for the firm's various long-only and alternative strategies and solutions
    • Identifying potential new clients, acquiring those clients and managing the onboarding of these relationship
    • Coordinating marketing efforts with Chief Operating Officer (COO), other members of the Marketing/Client Advisory team, the investment teams and others within the firm
    • Developing a thorough understanding of the firm's investment strategies, solutions, products and structures and be able to present these in a compelling way to prospects


Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of credit oriented asset classes. Convertible experience a plus, not required
  • Current knowledge of, and relationships among asset allocators in private and public pensions, insurance companies, banks, financial intermediaries, consultants, and other key allocators/advisors
  • Proven record of individual success raising capital in credit, convertible and/or related strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, "roll-up the sleeves", competitive environment
  • High energy, outgoing, results-oriented personality with strong work ethic and high self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely within a small team
  • Willingness to actively travel
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong academic achievement; MBA and/or CFA preferred, not required
