Role Profile
Senior IT Business Analyst working on the technology team responsible for the London Stock Exchange Group Market Data Systems hosted in London and Milan.
Key Responsibilities
Produce scope/vision documents
Produce requirements specifications
Document business flows
Provide input to technical solution design (working with vendors and/or other teams)
Preparation and oversight of testing activities (including advising our QA team)
Conducting training for internal users
Organise and co-ordinate test execution (UAT)
Co-ordinate end client interaction
Operational 2nd line support

Candidate Profile / Key Skills
A proven ability to learn new concepts quickly
Experience of working within software project lifecycles
Experience as an Agile Product Owner
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage relationships effectively
Must be self-motivated and have a desire to engage in process improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technology Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar
Minimum of 4 years work experience as a Technology Business Analyst
Experience / exposure to Capital Markets (ideally another Exchange / Venue, Capital Markets Technology Vendor or an Investment / Trading Firm)
Previous work experience with Market Data Platforms and industry standard protocols (ITCH, FIX/FAST)
Ideal candidate will be fully or in part professionally qualified in relation to the Financial Services Industry (CFA, CISI etc.)
