- To be an integral member of the Global Team working towards its goal of delivering out-performance against the relevant benchmark.
- Contribute to the construction / management of the Global Fund maximising risk adjusted returns.
- Take responsibility for certain regions and/or sectors; to conduct fundamental analysis at both a sector and stock level and to be accountable for all investment recommendations.
- Contribute to tactical asset allocation.
- Support other Fund Managers across the investment department as appropriate.
Successful candidates will have:
- A Bachelor's degree with an additional qualification in investment management: CFA, IIMR or equivalent qualification
- A minimum 3 years' experience in 'long only' institutional fund management in a global equity market capacity and can effectively demonstrate a good performance track record
- A good understanding of modern portfolio theory and risk management techniques including quantitative techniques
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excel/Technological abilities
