The Analyst will support the Investment team with interactions with key partners, including joint venture partners, senior lenders, vendors and other real estate professionals.

The key requirements and skills for the role are;
  • Preparing financial models for new investment opportunities and supporting the Investment Manager & CIO in identifying and accurately modelling potential risks and financial benefits;
  • Assisting the team in all aspects of acquisition due diligence including preparing investment memorandums, modelling sensitivity analysis and preparing a financial risk register;
  • Preparation of reporting papers to cover topics including valuation reports, lettings analysis and existing portfolio analysis;
  • Modelling complex cash flows and partnership structures to assess risk and return;
  • Supporting the Finance Director and CIO in analysis and preparation of the annual business plan;
  • Assisting with asset management including business plan development and exit strategy planning and execution.

Key requirements are:
  • Excellent academic background
  • Ideally 2-4 years' experience as an Investment Analyst in a real estate investment or development firm, investment banking or "Big 4" background.
  • First-rate quantitative and technical skillset, including adeptness in financial modelling;
  • Competency based financial modelling test to be undertaken as part of the role;
  • Team-orientated individual comfortable working in a meritocratic, flat corporate structure;
  • Self-motivated, energetic and passionate about real estate and the Build-to-rent sector.
  • Positive attitude and pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Recently qualified ACA or CFA preferable.
