Fund/Product Controller - Leading Hedge Fund

Role

To join a team primarily responsible for providing review and analysis of fund profit and loss accounts and calculating the Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds

More specifically:

• Review and analyse fund profit and loss accounts. Report reconciled performance figures to the Asset Managers
• Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and validate accrued income and expenses.
• Review reconciliations between custodians, prime brokers and fund management system and arrange investigation and/or correction of breaking items
• Be involved in the operational planning and execution of product lifecycle events such as new fund set-up, restructures and liquidations

Requirements

• 1-2 years' Post-Qualified experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA)
• Previous experience workling in a Tier 1 Bank or Hedge Fund
• Product/fund control background or similar preferred
• High proficiency with Excel
