Some of the responsibilities of the Reporting Analyst will include:
- The review of quarterly fund reporting/factsheets for clients, including qualitative and quantitative data inputting and errors.
- Responsible for ensuring that the content of all pooled fund and segregated client account reports, Key Investor Information Documents and pooled fund factsheets, as well as relevant information, contributed to other documents, such as RFPs, marketing documents, and statutory reports and accounts are correct and well presented.
- Reengineering current processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Update external reporting in-line with compliance requests, updating reports proactively to ensure they are fit for dispatch well in advance of quarter end. Liaise with internal contributors to ensure that delays between teams are limited and managed.
- Assist with delivering monthly tasks, including second checking, to the Reporting Assistant Manager in a timely manner. Flag issues or changes to deliverables so that these can be resolved quickly and so the Reporting Assistant Manager is kept aware of all significant matters.
Background of the Reporting Analyst:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Client Reporting or RFP production within asset management is essential
- Studying towards a professional qualification would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of performance analysis would be highly sought after
- Good excel skills including V lookup tables
- Working knowledge of Vermillion system isn't essential but would be fantastic to have
