Key Responsibilites
- Research industries, sectors or companies (typically targets or client competitors)
- Maintain/develop existing transaction and comparable databases
- Create marketing and pitch materials
- Prepare financial analysis and models, and/or review junior & peer analysis and models
- Support and review the drafting of M&A transaction documentation including information memoranda, teasers, management presentations and diligence Q&A
- Support the due diligence process including the creation and maintenance of virtual data rooms
- Participate in client meetings, including business solicitation
- Partner with Global Human Resources Director on internship program creation, implementation and management of interns
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of marketing service both to internal partners and external clients, develop client networks within the Investment Banking industry
- Demonstrable experience of supporting, developing and executing sales and marketing strategies within the Investment Banking industry
- Strong financial modelling aptitude
- Advanced ability in valuation and financial analysis
- Through understanding of corporate finance and processes
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to evaluate companies and financial information quickly and accurately and to summarize key points succinctly
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong client-facing communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly self-motivated and responsive
- Able to work independently within a small team
Experience/Qualifications
Essential:
- Undergraduate/Master's degree with a strong academic record, 2:1 or equivalent or higher
- Three (3) years of M&A or Private Equity experience required
- FCA CF30 qualification
- Willingness to travel
Advantageous:
- Previous AA&D experience
- Other relevant qualifications (such as CFA or Accountancy or MBA)
