Our client is looking to add an established Senior Vice President / Associate Director to their Natural Resources (which includes both O&G and Metals & Mining combined) Corporate team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in a Corporate Broking / Finance role, have a track record in Natural Resources transactions and must be able to 'hit the ground running' to not only handle existing deal flow but also be actively involved in winning new mandates.
If successful you will benefit from significant exposure to the day to day business of Corporate Broking, with regular client contact, as well as hands on involvement in supporting the developing pipeline of Corporate transactions and preparation of the necessary documentation, accounting and legal paperwork required to support the deals. The mentoring and development of the Associate level members of the team will also form part of your responsibilities over time.
You must have ambition and drive, excellent communication skills, a sound academic record (i.e. a 2:1 degree or above) and demonstrable experience of corporate transactions, processes and, most importantly, the Listing Rules. ACA, ACCA or CFA qualifications are an advantage but are not essential.
