My client is a FX brokerage based in the City of London.
Description
The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for:
* Prepare credit reviews of new and existing counterparties, approving within individual authority.
* Providing robust and detailed recommendations of credit limits and internal ratings for escalation to the appropriate approval authority. Concise and well-thought-out recommendation(s), from Credit Manager level up to Main Board.
* Review of structured options product proposals from a credit perspective.
* Portfolio reviews of clients and counterparties based on country or sector risk.
* Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly credit risk and main board reports.
* Completion of credit files and updating of risk limit systems.
* Where required, providing input into the scoping, design, development, validation and implementation of credit risk models.
* Advise on the development of a new credit management system.
Profile
The Credit Risk Analyst will have/be:
* Educated to bachelor's degree level. A fluency in Spanish language would be a bonus but is not essential.
* Studying towards post degree level qualification preferable. Relevant qualification bodies would include; ACA/ACCA/FRM/IRM/CFA/CISI
* Experience of working within a group credit risk function or business level equivalent.
* Experience of working in an underwriting/decisioning role in a bank or financial institution.
