Key responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
• Analysing competitor landscapes, compare this to the Client's in order to support positioning strategies
• Monitor industry, market and company trends and developments across various distribution channels
• Make use of market research and analytical tools to carry forward insights
• Respond to various internal market insight queries and serve as a subject matter expert
• Ensure that decision-makers are fully informed of all emerging trends, competitive threats, and strategic opportunities
• Carry out market research and ensure quality of all data,
• Manage and participate in special projects, and ad hoc tasks
• Make sure all presentations, research briefs, and reports are updated and improved regularly - present and deliver these through various mediums eg. written, presentations, and group discussions
Necessary qualifications, experience and competencies:
• Strong analytical, numerical and presentations skills
• CFA, IMC, fully qualified or working towards
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative market research methods
• Experience in asset management, and a good understanding of products and asset classes
