Senior Buy & Maintain Credit Portfolio Manager

A Tier-1 Asset Manager (£400bn+ AUM) is looking to hire an experience IG Credit PM to Focus on running Buy & Maintain Credit portfolios for a range of external clients, as well as managing internal assets on behalf of the parent company that owns the asset manager.

This is a senior PM role and the incoming person will be the #2 on the team, reporting directly into the team head.

The ideal candidate:

• Someone with a level of demonstrated experience as an IG credit portfolio manager and with a good understanding of Buy & Maintain credit
• Someone with comprehensive knowledge of the credit markets and strong knowledge of specific issuers and sectors within the IG space
• Experience managing assets for regulated insurance clients and/or pension clients
• Someone with strong analytical capabilities
• CFA qualified (preferred)
• Knowledge of or understanding of the LDI space (highly desirable)

As the client base is highly regulated, the team works closely with the clients and Solutions Team to generate investment strategies that fulfil client liabilities. The team also focuses on the optimization of portfolio returns, which are subject to the capital constraints of the client
