The Role Responsibilities

Job Purpose
  • The Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting team, is responsible for oversight of the Group's regulatory liquidity position. The team's roles include monitoring limits for key liquidity metrics, and engagement with business and regional liquidity reporting counterparts across the Group.
  • This is a senior level role, with a direct reporting line into head of Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting. Key role responsibilities include review and challenge of liquidity regulatory submissions across a range of liquidity metrics, including LCR, NSFR, Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics and Intraday Liquidity. The role will therefore most likely suit a candidate with experience in regulatory reporting, and / or liquidity management
  • The role will also have extensive exposure to system and process change projects, including review of infrastructure, operating model and materiality limit changes within the liquidity reporting
  • The individual will also be involved in review and signoff of regular and ad hoc analyses performed by the liquidity reporting team, both onshore in London and support teams based in India and Singapore, and for management of an ongoing book of work to monitor and address known issues affecting liquidity reporting.
  • This role will require the individual to work closely with colleagues in the Group Treasury and Risk division, given internal division of responsibilities with respect to policy setting, and regulatory interaction.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Review new liquidity policy releases to interpret reporting requirements and assess impact to the liquidity reporting team.
  • Partner with Business Analysts working on project initiatives to prepare for new liquidity regulatory requirements and changes to existing requirements.
  • Contribute to gap analysis initiatives to determine developments required to meet new regulatory requirements, given data sources already available.
  • Act as a liaison between the regulatory reporting team and the internal policy owners in Group Treasury and Risk divisions.


Our Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in regulatory reporting or liquidity management type roles would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate will be required to communicate clearly and concisely, and depending on the audience (e.g. business users vs. developers), adapt the communication style
  • High quality research and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Developed problem solving skills
  • Enthusiasm, drive and ability to work in a fast paced, high performance team
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work with a range of people from diverse background and geographies
  • Preferably post graduate certification (Masters, CFA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
