Multi Asset Product Specialist

Our client is a highly rated Investment House managing over 100bn in assets. They are looking for an Investment Management professional to join their Multi Asset team as a client portfolio manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the top revenue generating team in the firm.

Successful candidates will need to express gravitas, be extremely professional and really understand investment fundamentals, data and distribution.

The role sits in between distribution and investments. As such the candidate will need strong interpersonal skills as well as a strong technical background

Main responsibilities include:

• First point of contact as the technical expert on the fund for internal and external clients
• Development a deep understanding of the investment philosophy. Including the positions and why they are held
• Maintaining and manipulating performance and attribution data
• Ensuring that product material is produced to a high standard and take the lead in devising content for marketing literature for sales channels
• Competitor analysis - collect and analyse comparative advantages among major peers and determine our product niche
• Client reports and review presentations - Provide regular updates of market and portfolio performance, as well as portfolio investment strategy, for distribution to existing clients
• RFP ownership - Ensure RFPs are completed with the highest standards possible and tailored to clients' needs
• Client Pitches: Assist the sales team externally as the product expert

Ideally the candidate will have anywhere between 10 and 20 years investment management experience, strong Fixed Income or Multi Asset knowledge and a grasp of multiple strategies. Educated up to degree standard, and have good numerical skills. Successful candidates should either hold an IMC or be CFA qualified or be willing to undertake either of these qualifications.
