This globally recognised investment manager is renowned for its successful management of its investments across an ever-widening range of products and asset classes, whilst also being known for its committed relationships to its expanding client pool.
Your new jobYou will be appointed as the leading manager of an expert Risk team with a clear objective to monitor the team and recognise any investment related risks that may impact the firm's EMEA portfolios/funds. You will also be required to build dedicated relationships with different sectors of the investment team such as the front office, whilst also be a key reporter back to senior management and clients of relevant risk profiles as a means of providing security throughout the firm.
You will also be responsible for conducting regular reviews and due diligence on any relevant financial tools and systems, ensuring they are in line with the fund's guidelines and conduct principles.

What you'll need to succeed
- 7+ years' experience in an investment/market risk related role
- Broad knowledge across financial markets and their instruments and pricing methodologies
- Previous experience working within Asset Management
- Strong programming skills (e.g. VBA, SQL, Python...)
- Be able to work independently with a driven mindset
- Experience writing clear, well written reports
- Experience working to effectively manage, monitor and provide regular overview of varied data
Ideally you will have - Ability to work with an array of systems such as Bloomberg, MSCI RiskMetrics and LiquidityMetrics
- Strong presentation skills
- A strong quantitative background either scientific or financial (CFA/ FRM would be a bonus)
- A committed and motivated mindset in order to maintain the firm's guidelines
