TheStructural Efficiency Team forms part of Deloitte's Risk Advisory Practice andis a centre of excellence, specialising in Booking model assessments (includingcurrent state documentation, enhancing governance and MI, strengthening bookingcontrols and booking model optimisation), Legal Entity & Regulatory Change(e.g. restructuring of financial institutions to address regulatoryrequirements (e.g. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform, theCapital Requirements Directive/ Regulations, Basel III, The Bank Recovery andResolution Directive, Brexit implementation), risk Management and assessmentspertaining to Capital & Liquidity, Structural Reform and Recovery &Resolution Planning.

Our teamspecialises in providing end to end support through detailed impact assessmentsof regulatory and strategic changes on individual financial institutions toimplementation. We partner with Financial Services clients undergoing strategicor regulatory change, providing advisory and/or implementation supportdelivered by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) specialising in Prudential andConduct Regulations, Capital Markets, Wholesale and Retail Banking, RiskManagement, Finance, Treasury and Target Operating Model Design.

Yourrole
We partner with FinancialServices clients undergoing strategic or regulatory change, providing advisoryand/or implementation support delivered by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)specialising in Prudential and Conduct Regulations, Capital Markets, Wholesaleand Retail Banking, Risk Management, Finance, Treasury and Target OperatingModel Design.
The Team wishes to recruit highcalibre individuals with skills and experience in regulation, risk management,capital, treasury and liquidity, front office products which are crucial areasof expertise for delivery of engagements.

Thisjob description details the requirements for a Senior Associate/Associate rolewithin our Team in the Risk Advisory Practice based in London.

Responsibilities
As a SeniorAssociate/Associate, the successful applicant will have responsibility for thefollowing:
• Providing support tothe Engagement lead in advising the clients on key areas of regulation acrossFinancial Services (examples of which are outlined above) and interpreting thepractical implementation considerations associated with such areas ofregulation on client businesses
• Supporting theengagement team in delivering projects such as Booking Model Analysis, LegalEntity Change Programmes, Capital, Liquidity, Risk Management, Recovery &Resolution Planning and Business Model Optimisation
• Supporting engagementteam in managing client stakeholders across multiple disciplines and/ orjurisdictions.
• Ability to communicateeffectively, both verbally and in written format
• Supporting theengagement team in drafting deliverables (e.g. reports, discussion packs etc.).
• Providing support inundertaking analysis which includes identifying the most appropriate approachto conducting such analysis
• Ability to identifyissues as well as offer potential solutions both to the clients and engagementteam
• Supporting withfuture strategy and business development within the Structural Reform Team ,including the preparation of thought leadership, client proposals and materialsand building technical knowledge across the team
• Working effectivelyin diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognisedfor their contribution

Location:
Your home office will be London, but thisclient-facing role provides lots of opportunity for travel in the UK andoverseas.

Work pattern:
This is a Permanent contract opportunity.

Your professional experience
• A degree and / or relevant professional qualification e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Financial Risk Management qualified) as well as relevant Consulting, Regulatory, Risk Management, Finance or Treasury experience
• A broad understanding of Prudential Regulations and/or global Structural Reform Regulations
• Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging/dynamic work environment
• Strong team player with good organisation and planning skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft applications - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
