Finance Business Analyst

The Company
Robert Half is working on an exclusive basis with a leading Energy business based in Abu Dhabi.

The Role
As a Business Analyst you will support the ongoing finance transformation while ensuring business as usual activities are undertaken without interruption

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of a detailed data / business analysis
• Follow processes and systems to capture and measure key performance indicators of business on a regular basis, linking operational and financial performances
• Facilitate collection of insights and prepare presentations to describe the business in numbers to internal stakeholders
• Prepare forecasts, budget and other key financial projections
• Prepare models and simulations to assess the financial impact of potential regulatory changes
• Support the development of business cases, while highlighting risks and opportunities
• Prepare and maintain standard periodic reports of different departments
• Understand the overall strategies and support their translation into actionable items / objectives for the whole organization
• Participate in key internal meetings, record and distribute minutes and support line manager in maintaining follow-up on actions
• Liaise and co-ordinate with departments' heads regularly to facilitate
• meetings / required information
• Handle all information and processes while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
• Perform ad-hoc queries as required by direct supervisor / line manager

The Candidate

• A minimum of being a postgraduate (preferably C.P.A, C.M.A. or C.F.A)
• Financial modelling skills, with an understanding of risk / impact assessment
• Knowledge of financial and non-financial KPIs, root cause analysis, scenario modelling
• Proven working experience within a Performance Management function, preferably within Middle East
• 2+ years in an industrial sector
• Experience of working with teams in cross-functional settings
