This well-established platform has an excellent reputation in the market and has a $1.5Bn discretionary fund newly raised, plus substantial additional dry powder from recent separate account mandate wins
Fund/separate accounts have a broad investment strategy and can deploy capital across any European market, via debt and equity, from core+ to opportunistic, across all real estate asset classes and at asset, portfolio or corporate level or in JV.
Targeting candidates who are sharp, smart, excellent on Excel, diligent, ambitious and personable
The team has closed c. 7 direct/JV deals in past 12 months, and given the c. $4Bn (incl. gearing) dry powder, plans to boost the existing team by hiring at Analyst and Associate level.
Both roles will have a primary transactional focus, supporting deals from cradle to grave across European geographies, asset types and risk/return strategies in direct, JV, M&A and secondaries. There will additionally be some analysis and research activity to support strategy and decision making.
The Requirement:
• Two years - 6 years' experience in real estate investment scenario
• Must be capable of processing complex information quickly, writing detailed and accurate analysis and building models from scratch
• Must have exceptional Excel modelling skills (this will be tested)
• Must have excellent business writing skills
• Must be highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Will have been awarded 2:1 or above in a relevant subject from a reputable university
• Will have excellent written and spoken English - a second European language is an advantage
• CFA or IMC is an advantage but not a requirement
• At the more senior end must have a track record of supporting deals from cradle to grave.
