As the Head of Financial Data, you will be reporting to the CEO and will collaborate with a diverse team of fintech professionals. You will be responsible for the data strategy road map and work with the engineering team to build the platform.

Responsibilities:
- Be absolutely obsessed with stock market data!!!
- Work with researchers and stakeholders to develop the equity data strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver quick time to market results with impact
- Negotiate with data vendors to achieve sound commercial contracts
- Research new technologies that will help leverage data to improve decisions internally and for external customers
Key Requirements:
- Robust understanding of financial data, especially equity data and all that can be done with it (equity factors, backtesting & market timing)
- Good experience working with cross functional teams and management experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience working with SQL databases and large data sets
- Ability to read and understand code in either Python or Java is an advantage
- Financial qualifications e.g. CFA / CMT / ACCA (qualified or part qualified okay)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
