Credit Manager - Aviation Leasing
Venn Group are currently recruiting a for Credit Manager with expertise in Portfolio Management, and Credit Risk within the Aviation sector.
It is imperative that you have previous experience managing a portfolio of leased aircraft / engines assets (including Problem Assets), across a broad variety of aviation sectors, geographies, and asset types. The job will require you to act as the primary analyst for a portfolio of accounts and new transactions.
The position will sit within the 2nd Line of Defence and be responsible for managing the credit portfolio, dealing with credit submission, resolving client issues, approving credits and working closely with the 1st Line of Defence to resolve risk events and mitigate risk issues.
Working within the financial services sector, you will be required to assist with the teams' regular monitoring and analysis of existing portfolios and have in-depth knowledge of key products: Corporate Loan Structures, Asset Finance, Capital Markets, Derivatives and Leasing Products.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience and be confident in their own ability in completing the following tasks: management of commercial aircraft assets, assessment of complex transactions, management of under-performing / deteriorating credit situations and credit monitoring.
It would be advantageous to have a relevant qualification such as an ACA, ACCA or CFA, have worked closely in a problem asset management capacity, and have an overall high level of IT literacy.
