Key responsibilities: Working within the Firm's business management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing 'best-in-class' relationship management to a broad range of sophisticated institutional clients and assist in the management of the business.

A typical candidate will have extensive proven experience in an institutional asset management company in roles such as product or portfolio specialist, institutional marketing or sales; consultant relationships; and client relationship management.

Key deliverables:
  • Develop strategies and materials to help deepen and strengthen existing client relationships, contribute to client retention, and improve the transparency with which the Firm communicates with clients.
  • Build a solid working knowledge of the Firm and the Franchise portfolios to be able to communicate clearly to the Firm's clients.

This includes hosting meetings, preparing briefing notes and presentations, and documenting meeting notes and follow-ups. In time, this will involve playing a lead role in client/consultant meetings.
  • Manage general ad hoc communications to clients (e.g. investment or regulatory communications). Respond to client queries by email and telephone.
  • Contribute to written investment content, including new position blogs and issues of interest papers.
  • Contribute to the monthly/quarterly/annual client reporting process, including drafting/editing commentaries, reviewing reports, and contributing to other bespoke client-specific reporting.
  • Contribute to the completion of RFPs, RFIs and existing client due diligence questionnaires, as well as the regular update cycle for client presentation templates.
  • Help manage the Firm's client portal, including the development of content.
  • Play an active role in the governance of the Firm's pooled funds, including reviewing fund documentation and preparing and presenting reports to the Fund Boards on a quarterly basis.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the quarterly partners' meeting report. Update asset, return peer group, client, and pipeline data for presentation to the partners.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects across the business as needed.
  • Support other functional areas of the business in drafting/reviewing written communication to clients.
