Cobalt are working with a boutique real estate investor, specialising in opportunistic and value add strategies across the UK in a variety of asset classes, currently seeking an entrepreneurial and number orientated individual to join a growing team to assist with continued investment strategies and company growth.
Tasked with business partnering the Partners, as well as being a key liaison with external parties, you will assist on key business decisions, analyse financial data and translate accounting information to key stakeholders and senior management.

Tasked with business partnering the Partners, as well as being a key liaison with external parties, you will assist on key business decisions, analyse financial data and translate accounting information to key stakeholders and senior management.
With the chance to progress into a CFO/ COO capacity, duties include but not limited to:
- Investment appraisal for all development work with the asset management and building surveyor teams to enhance reporting on cash flow projections against original budget and final cost
- Enhance the development of individual property profitability reporting and analysis, primarily focusing on non-recoverable costs across the portfolio
- Analysis of all aspects of the investment property portfolio
- Review of the half yearly management and annual statutory accounts
- Long term financial forecasts
- Work along side the asset management and building surveyor teams to enhance cash flow projections
- Undertake pre and post project appraisals of all refurbishments and development
Key requirements
- Experience working within real estate/ private equity
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA Qualified
- Strong excel skills
- Understanding of cash flow reporting within real estate
- Ability to work independently but also within a team
