Project Manager - Fund Placement - London

Based in the West End, our client is a pan - European private equity/private debt placement agent. The team's main focus is mid-market, sector agnostic funds. Due to the firm's success, despite the current pandemic, there is now the opportunity for a high calibre Transaction Services/Corporate Finance professional to join the team as a project manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting the client (GP) in their marketing position;
• Ensuring that the potential investors are alighed to the client's investment strategy;
• Producing marketing materials;
• Assisting in the writing of the PPM;
• Assisting potential investors with their due diligence;
• Ensuring that the client is always informed of the progress of the fundraising.

The successful candidate will:

• Possess a strong academic background and may hold the ACA/MBA or CFA qualifications;
• Be a solid team player;
• Be approachable and have a hands on work ethic;
• Possess strong financial and literacy skills.
• Have at least 6 years work experience from the Transaction Services/M&A advisory team in a top tier professional services firm/an M&A boutique/investment bank.
• Private equity/private debt knowledge is not essential, but the candidate must be from financial services.
