Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be employed as an AVP/ VP Fund Controller in an ambitious Global Operations team. The role encompasses Fund Accounting, Investor Reporting and Data Management oversight. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of both Loan and Structured Credit products, be well versed in Accounting principles, have extensive experience in Performance Return calculations. Some supervisory experience will be advantageous.

The position will involve the following duties:
  • Performance Return calculations - Portfolio and Share Class (Open ended funds)
  • Fund Accounting - overseeing production of Alcentra NAVs, monitoring Balance Sheets, PLs, Class Performance and Hedging efficiency
  • Expense Budgets Calculations - overseeing Management and Performance fees, Expense Budgets and TERs
  • Data - ensuring accuracy of data in the Front Office Systems and Data Warehouse
  • Reporting - Regulatory and Investor reporting
  • Audit - oversight and sign off of Financial Statements/ fund audits

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will work as a part of the team but with fair degree of autonomy. She or He must be able to stay self-motivated while working in the office or from home, demonstrate investigative mind and curiosity. The candidate must be a strong team player, take responsibility and ownership of their work.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, professional qualifications like CFA/ ACCA/ CIMA necessary.
