You will be involved in:
- Leading an existing team of 4 Corporate Credit Analysts (with plans to grow)
- Leading development and sign off of the groups Corporate Methodology & Corporate Assessment criteria
- Responsible for both public and private ratings, across all corporate sub-sectors, and both investment grade & high yield debt
- Chair all committees on new or existing Corporate ratings and ensure communication of the results of such committees to external parties.
- Pro-actively build the firm's brand name recognition by way of participation in relevant conferences, production of research and interface with Corporate counterparties such as issuers, investors and bankers.
- Initiate and manage a schedule of sector commentaries and topical market research.
- Develop and train the Corporate Analytical team.
You will have:
- Proven corporate credit analysis skills (8-20 years experience as a rough guide)
- Strong credit, financial modelling skills
- High level of familiarity with financial statements, legal documentation and corporate structures
- Strong understanding of accounting issues affecting varying sectors
- Solid understanding of industry, regulatory and economic aspects affecting Corporates
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
