Key Responsibilities

Delivery
  • Oversight of price exceptions and the stale / static values
  • IBOR NAV formal sign off, Flash and Final
  • Oversight of all cash and stock reconciliations across the scheme (Internal, external and alternatives)
  • Management of Third-party providers for accounting service (JP Morgan and Northern Trust)
  • Oversee the daily review of NAV's produced by our Fund Accountants and perform summary sign off pf the ABOR to IBOR
  • Identify system improvements and create business case/ justification as required.
  • Manage the development priorities across Operations, prioritising with the IMS team deliveries for Operations
  • Active participation in Operations management team working collaboratively to take the business forward
  • Understand & support the end to end Lifecyle of the broader Public Markets Operations

Stakeholder Management
  • Manage stakeholders ensuring that information flows easily between departments
  • Create an open and effective partnership with JPM and Northern Trust fund accounting, attendance at service reviews and regular meetings.
  • Develop a close working relationship with our external managers to improve workflow
  • Work closely with colleagues in Performance, Risk, IMS and Investment accounts, sharing information and best practice

Line Management
  • Responsible for day to day management of 2 staff members
  • Responsible for appraisal, and objective setting and monitoring
  • A focus on the individual's growth and development supporting them to qualify


Your Experience
  • Accounting qualification required (ACA/ACCA)
  • CFA/CAIA qualification advantageous
  • Experience in a product control function
  • Previous line management experience
  • Business/ Operational experience of working with complex assets
  • Problem solving with independent thought
  • Experience of Bloomberg AIM
  • Attention to detail
  • Track record of initiative/project delivery
  • Can do attitude
  • Advanced Excel skills
