The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Sustainable Investing team and one of the most dynamic parts of the business. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Head of Sustainable Investing in sustainable project work such as stewardship, delivering sustainable business targets such as net-zero, client communications along with intermediary client meeting pitches and meetings.
The Sustainable Investment Specialist will manage a variety of sustainable and ESG focused project work across the wealth management firm.
Delivering a range of sustainable communications (presentations, blogs, sales materials, investment commentary and articles) ensuring the messaging is correct and the ESG content is accurate.
The Sustainable Investment Specialist will frequently provide sustainable presentations (pitches and ongoing) to the wealth management company IFA clients.
Ensuring the wealth management sustainability brand is correctly represented and the brand ethos is understood and maintained, whilst developing the firm's sustainable proposition with Wealth & Investment Managers across the firm.
The Sustainable Investment Specialist is the primary contact for the Business Development team for all queries relating to sustainable investing.
Liasing with colleagues across the Group to ensure alignment of the wealth management companies sustainability and ESG strategy, where appropriate
The Candidate:
2 years minimum previous experience within a sustainability or ESG role within financial services is essential.
A very keen interest in impact/ESG/sustainability is essential.
Knowledge of sustainable market drivers, sustainable themes, sustainable funds
Previous experience of conducting presentations is advantageous
Willingness to study and gain the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced investment environment
Good numerical skills and written and oral communication skills
Good attention to detail
Keen to learn and to develop role
Ability to manage time and multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient levels of Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint
