As a Barclays FLM Funding Assessment VP you will contribute to the Funding Assessment Centre of Excellence success, supporting Treasury's effort on liquidity risk metrics. You will support the translation of these requirements into the Barclays context ensuring the right organisational capabilities are built to manage liquidity risks. What will you be doing?
• Acting as the expert in regulations and regulatory metrics impacting our approach to Liquidity Management. Including, LCR, NSFR, PRA110, ALMM regulations
• Translating these external requirements into a Barclays context by designing the frameworks in which the firm needs to operate
• Driving implementation of regulatory reporting enhancements with partner functions such as IT, Reporting teams, Risk, Reg Policy, and businesses
• Leading and executing initiatives under Liquidity Reporting Programme (one of Treasury's top priorities) which aims to improve timeliness of liquidity reporting
• Supporting the production of ILAAP by providing Funding Assessment subject matter expertise
• Participating in closing out conformance points and audit points
• Supporting the continuous improvement of processes in terms of funding cost, operational efficiency and/or controls effectiveness
• Maintaining a forward-looking 'pipeline' of upcoming changes to regulations, to allow for timely impact assessment and planning of the Book of Work

What we're looking for:
• Extensive experience in a Treasury, Risk or Finance function; preferable experience working in a regulatory coverage role in a Liquidity Management function
• Comprehensive understanding of the UK and US Regulatory framework in which Funding & Liquidity Management operates,
• Experience working on Regulatory deliverables; including but not limited to, LCR, NSFR and PRA110 regulations;
• Knowledge of the liquidity regulatory metric calculation methodologies (in particular LCR, NSFR,PRA110, ALMM) and underlying drivers

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Some/Preferred experience in data visualisation (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Hypercube) and coding (e.g. SQL, Python)
• Degree educated (or equivalent) with a relevant qualification (ACA, CFA)
