Key duties:
1. Preparation of monthly reports and marketing material, including data analysis, for investors and potential clients.
2. Database maintenance including maintenance of investor records, performance information and other fund information within the client relationship management system.
3. Preparing ad hoc reports and information requests.
4. Assisting with organisation of educational conferences, including preparation of conference materials, registration of attendees and other administrative tasks.
5. Work closely with other internal teams and interact with service providers.
6. Ad hoc tasks as required.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
Essential
1. Technical skills including advanced Excel skills, knowledge of macros and VLOOKUP. Ability to learn and work with in house systems.
2. Experience and keen interest in learning SQL for database management and VBA. Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint.
3. Very well organised, attention to detail, strong spelling, grammar and proof reading skills.
4. Demonstrable ability to understand, analyse and articulate financial data and statistics.
5. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Preferred
6. Relevant Bachelor degree (commerce/finance) or similar.
7. Experience in alternative investments, particularly investing in options.
