Financial Planning Analyst

A Leading city based investment management company are expanding within their finance function and are looking to recruit for Financial Planning Analyst. This is a permanent role, reporting into Senior finance manager (FP&A). This role will lead on the production of insightful management information across the organisation to monitor financial performance, reduce risk and support decision-making working closely with the senior Finance Manager FP&A and senior stakeholders.

Duties:
  • You will develop implement and maintain systems across the finance function in terms of reporting and analysis, Improvement and development of internal reporting
  • Provision of modelling support and expertise to the wider finance team
  • Improvement and maintenance of managed account find models
  • Management of fund pipeline analysis
  • Liaising with external modelling provider to manage the build of new fund models
  • Identification of improvement to existing models
  • Ad hoc data analysis
  • Monitoring financial performance
  • Production and maintenance of management account fund models.


In order to be considered for this role you will have the following:
  • ACA, CIMA or CFA qualified with 1-2 years experience post qualification
  • Strong FP&A experience across a large, international organisation
  • Experience in infrastructure asset management
  • Degree level educated
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced excel
  • Similar and suitable experience matching the above duties.
  • Experience of managing part-qualified Analysts would be beneficial
  • Strong experience of producing financial models and 3-year plans, annual budgets, and re-forecasts
  • Strong FP&A experience across a large, international organisation
  • This role will include a large element of financial modelling at the fund level and provision of support to the wider team.
