Job Purpose
The role is primarily to source, evaluate, structure, negotiate and monitor direct investments in private debt transactions.

Job Purpose
The role is primarily to source, evaluate, structure, negotiate and monitor direct investments in private debt transactions.
What you'll do
- Source new private placement transactions and work with credit, actuarial, risk, legal teams to bring transactions to a close. Assets are to be sourced for the UK, Irish, Reinsurance and North American lines of business.
- Help to maintain the existing portfolio of private placement assets
- Work with the broader fixed income team to help to meet earnings and performance objectives
- Establish and maintain relationships within the private placement market
- Explore new sectors suitable for investment
- Work with private placement teams across the group
- A minimum of 3 years of successful experience sourcing private debt assets
- Strong financial analysis and structuring skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team and discuss views with confidence and reason
- Relevant professional qualifications (CFA desirable) & or good bachelor's degree
- Broad education in economics & finance
