Junior analyst - Fund management

Boutique investment house with $1.5bn AUM is looking for an outstanding individual to assist the senior analysts and fund manager for equity investment analysis and selection. The firm is based in Epsom and the candidate will be required to work from the office for most days of the week though there is scope to WFH 1-2 days per week (subject to agreement). The role requires strong analytical skills with an interest in global and emerging markets, particularly in the infrastructure and utilities space. The individual will be assigned to assist a sector-specific senior analyst and will likely rotate after one year to another sector.

Responsibilities:
Excel modelling of P&L, balance sheet and cash flows of individual stocks
Tracking industry trends
Evaluating companies on relative and fundamental basis
Assisting senior analyst with company meetings (UK and abroad)

Preferred candidates will have:
CFA/ACA qualification (or currently studying)
Strong mathematical/accounting ability and excellent academic background
1-3 years' experience in equity/credit markets as a research analyst (buyside or sellside)
Interest in emerging markets and willingness to travel
