The company brings innovation and best practices to the back and middle offices of some of the most successful managers of Alternative Investments (GPs and LPs). They are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for a number of additions in both their advisory and execution teams up to manager level.
The primary role will be to lead teams tasked with the development and implementation of improvements to the operational processes and/or accounting, reporting and IT systems of alternative asset and investment management clients.
The company partner extremely closely with the client, often based on site with project teams consisting of members of the operations and middle office groups of the client firm, usually including the CFO.

Responsibilities:
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages and works with team on day-to-day responsibilities and issue resolution
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Complete project analysis, define requirements and related documents, develop and execute test plans and related documents as necessary
- Consistently monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Effectively applies methodology and enforces continuity of project standards
- Minimizes exposure and risk on projects
- Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors junior staff
- Analyses project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
Requirements:
- 4 - 8 years consulting, accounting, or operations experience within the Alternative Assets space
- Demonstrable experience of leading on projects or implementation schemes
- Proven experience in people management
- Strong system skills
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, IMC, etc.) preferred
