In response to a growing pipeline, the Real Estate M&A team is looking to hire an experienced investment banking associate or vice president who can analyse client requirements on investment strategy, capital strategy, vehicle structure, financing requirements and decision-making dynamics. Candidates will provide support to Senior Directors, developing solutions and advice for clients, managing client dialogue, and leading all aspects of transaction execution.

Main duties include:

  • Review client service engagements which would include advising clients on buy and sell-side transactions
  • Lead analysis and due diligence on potential deals including: researching sector and competition, reviewing comprehensive financial information, inputting into the review of financial models and projections, reviewing asset level data and assisting in transactional documentation
  • Lead preparation of documents including:
    • presentations;
    • pitch books;
    • information memoranda;
    • asset books; and
    • reports for client use.
  • Project manage transactions from inception to execution, liaising with other advisers and cross-border teams.
  • Review and input into key transactional documentation and third party reports
  • Skilled in working within a team developing and mentoring analyst and associates.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A financial background with either:
    • experience of an investment bank analyst/ associate programme or similar;
    • CFA qualification; or
    • ACA or CA qualification.
  • 4 years + experience in a corporate finance environment .
  • Exposure to real estate businesses, assets, vehicles would be valuable but not essential.
