Business Development Associate - UK Institutional & Consultant Relations

What You'll Do:

• Work with the UK Business Development team on various aspects of the relationship building and sales processes across UK institutional investors and consultants.
• Schedule and track meetings and conference calls in conjunction with UK Business Development team.
• Oversee and prepare investor meeting materials.
• Ensure RFPs are coordinated internally and have input into final messaging.
• Attend investor meetings, write meeting notes, and ensure follow-up is completed, from simple tasks through to more complex analytical/quantitative analysis.
• Work collaboratively with internal groups and ensure effective communication in a timely and organized fashion
• Coordinate prospect and consultant communication.
• Undertake research on target markets, identifying potential clients and suitable strategies.
• Cold call and develop sales opportunities.
• Be actively involved in ad-hoc projects.
• Work with the team to improve/customize marketing and client material.

We're Looking for Teammates With:

• Bachelor's degree is required; IMC preferable and working towards the CFA is desirable.
• 2-4 years of investment industry experience.
• Experience within an investment management firm or investment consultant is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
• Well organized and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with a variety of colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong service mentality to respond quickly and professionally to prospect and team needs.
