Responsibilities and duties of the role:
Candidate requirements:
- Qualitative analysis of portfolios
- Ensure portfolios are managed in-line with mandates
- Provide comprehensive and detailed portfolio analysis
- Read and provide attribution reports
- Maintain investment risk models
- Ensure correct investment governance across the portfolios
- Prepare information packs and deliver at meetings
- Process reviews of funds
- Risk analysis and key driver analysis of the portfolios
- Help to improve investment process
- Write fund and market commentary to a high standard
- Asset allocation
- Mandate monitoring and reporting
- Sector research and analysis
Candidate requirements:
- Experience of the above
- Asset Management experience
- Equity fund knowledge
- Strong writing skills
- Understanding of risk models
- Understanding of modern portfolio theory
- Good analytical skills
- Ideally CFA or part qualified
- Python, VBA and SQL are an additional advantage
