Altus Partners are excited to be partnered with a leading Infrastructure Fund (London) which due to organic growth are hiring a Portfolio Finance Manager. The role encompasses the financial management and reporting in relation to investments, including maximising yield and value and requires working closely with the Fund Management team, Originators, Asset Managers and wider finance team.

Altus Partners are excited to be partnered with a leading Infrastructure Fund (London) which due to organic growth are hiring a Portfolio Finance Manager. The role encompasses the financial management and reporting in relation to investments, including maximising yield and value and requires working closely with the Fund Management team, Originators, Asset Managers and wider finance team.
THE ROLE:
- Managing/co-ordinating project company finance manager relationships across the funds investments
- Day-to-day management of the funds distributable cashflow, with joint responsibility for monitoring and managing receipt of distributions and helping to ensure that the funds dividend is cash covered
- Identification and management of value enhancements and asset management initiatives in relation to investments in the funds portfolio
- This could include optimising tax claims, refinancing, bulk procurement, treasury management, financial restructuring, accounting policies etc...
- Preparation of the 5-year financial forecasts, stress scenarios and annual business plan
- Preparation of the management information on Core Income to the funds infrastructure Leadership team or Management Committee, as required
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified accountant, ACA preferred, with at least 3 years post qualifying experience strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and working with detailed Excel models
- Strong PowerPoint capability and experience of designing management information for senior stakeholders
- Educated to a degree level and above and able to demonstrate a strong academic record (or equivalent)
- Good project management skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Oriented to problem solving and keen to use personal initiative
- Organised and able to multi-task in a time-pressured environment
- Good eye for detail with tenacity in chasing and following up ensuring deadlines are met
Desired:
- ACA/ICAS/ACAEW qualification from an Audit/accountancy firm
- CFA qualification a plus or partway qualified, e.g. completed level 1 or 2
- Listed financial planning and analysis experience in a listed company environment
- Additional European language skills a plus
