The role will involve developing relationships with clients and also demonstrating a deep level of investment strategy-specific knowledge which will be conveyed to consultants, clients and prospects. The Manager role will involve the creation of materials and communications across a range of formats to help keep all interested parties well informed. It will also involve collaborating and supporting the business development, consultant and client service teams in their efforts.

The firm's business depends on providing our clients with excellent long term investment performance and first class client service. The Clients Department is responsible for liaising with our existing clients and developing relationships to attract potential new clients. Specifically, our Client Contacts seek to build excellent relationships by understanding their client's specific needs. In order to do this, Client contacts need to develop a detailed investment and portfolio knowledge and be proactive and responsive, which allows our investors to focus on investing. The Clients Department functions as a number of small teams working together to provide our clients with the highest possible level of customer service.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Experience and knowledge:-

Developing and managing relationships with clients and potential clients

A strong interest in investment (essential) and ideally experience in an investment, research or client facing investment role

Relevant experience of working in the asset management industry

Abilities and skills:-

Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver impactful presentations

Strong written communication skills

Flexibility and enthusiasm to participate as part of a team to achieve a common goal


The full Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and CISI Level 6 Fund Management Module or CFA Level 1. Equivalent level 6 qualifications in a relevant subject area will be considered
